It turned into a busy weekend, most of it computer work. The school’s 20 year celebration prompted a lot of the work, sparking me to remake the school’s web site.
In that, I kept battling some Registration, Subscriptions, and Log in difficulties with WordPress blogs. Late last night I finally found the answers. It seems that the default log in (meta) widget and a popular log in plug-in have some difficulties. However, I found a better meta plug-in, and made some changes in the Subscribe2 plug-in settings. So now I feel I now have smooth and understandable, as well as secure, Register, Subscribe, and Log in procedures.
Once that process was finally solved and employed on both the school’s web site as well as here, on my blog, I spent some time working on pictures and galleries for the school’s site, and tweaking the Pix on my blog.
So now things can start to take a more normal pace. In addition to daily chores, such as laundry and house cleaning, I can settle back into some more writing. Yippee.
One little change I will make to posts; I have added a category called “Journal” as well as a new Content Key: (mundane, journal). Some of my posts are big thoughts. But some, like this one and BZZZZ and ACK, are more like mundane diary entries. This will allow me to make small, meaningless, daily reporting posts and place them in an appropriate category.
