The Higgs Boson, often referred to as The God Particle, has been a very illusive thing to observe. The God Particle is the speculation of Professor Higgs. It was his believe that the God Particle was a solid mass particle that binds the universe together, imparting mass and weight to other particles, as well as the particle that transmits gravity.
The CERN Supercollider spent a great deal of time and energy searching for the God Particle. At times they thought they had identified it only to find that they could not replicate the results.
It was then noticed that all repeat experiments occurred on the same day each week. They began to wonder if there was some localized events that were affecting their experiments; lack of traffic, or increased traffic, shops being closed or open, or other local environment anomalies associated with that particular day of the week.
But finally one of the scientists in the group hit upon the problem. The God Particle rests on Sundays.
