Bubbles Burst

Bursting BubbleThe Dow Jones broke 16,000 today, an all time high. Corporate profits are at all time highs. Stocks, obviously, are at all time highs. Top wages are up, while average wages are holding steady. Bank profits are on the rise. Just five years ago the banks and Wall Street were failing and the world was thrown into financial chaos. Now they are breeching the high they experienced prior to the melt down.

The Dodd-Frank Act was watered down and has not been fully implemented. Elizabeth Warren warns that the banks and institutions that were too big to fail are now bigger then they were. Fines on banks have been little more than a slap on the wrist, with no individuals having been charged, jailed, or fined. There is a new bubble boiling up. How long before it bursts, and how bad will the next burst be?
